About Guiri
About Guiri
Guiri exists to make Spain's bureaucracy easier to understand for people building a life in Spain.
Our mission
Spanish bureaucracy can be a practical barrier between a newly arrived person and a settled life in Spain. AEAT letters, padrĂ³n rules, TIE renewals, and Seguridad Social paperwork use legal Spanish and official references that are hard to navigate without context.
Guiri is being built to make practical orientation on those procedures easier to reach. Where we publish source-reviewed public guidance, we link to the relevant official sources so readers can check them.
Guiri is not a law firm or a substitute for professional advice when a case needs it.
What Guiri helps with
Public pages explain common routes, terms, official portals, city procedures, calculators, and preparation checklists. The product is designed for the personal layer, where a real PDF, deadline, upload, appointment category, or next step depends on a person's status or evidence.
Free content should make Spain easier to navigate, but high-stakes document decisions should not be reduced to generic articles.
How we review public guidance
Guiri publishes practical orientation, not legal, tax, immigration, or medical advice. Public guidance starts with primary official material where it is available: legislation, government agencies, city halls, and the service portals that readers must ultimately use. Procedural pages link to the sources they rely on so readers can verify the route themselves.
We separate general preparation from decisions that depend on a person's status, evidence, deadlines, or documents. A visible review date should change only when the source or the page has actually been checked; it is not updated simply to make a page look fresh.
Automation and AI may assist with organizing research, drafting, translation, and consistency checks. They are not treated as authorities. Published claims should remain traceable to the cited official material, and unsupported claims should not be added.
If you find an outdated source, a factual error, or a translation that changes the meaning, email support@guiri.app. Include the page URL and the official source that should be checked.
